Woel is a new Dutch brand offering wool felt wall tapestries that stylishly hides your TV while improving the acoustics in your home.
Woel consists of a beautiful thick wall tapestry with a metal mounting system. Each wall tapestry is made of two layers: a handmade or printed textile top layer glued to a 5 mm wool felt backing.
First, Woel's acoustic tapestries hide your flat-screen TV on the wall, thanks to the dynamic and minimalist mounting system. The patented system has been made as flat as possible, making it barely visible, so that all attention goes to the tapestry.
- Sustainability is central to Woel. The back of the tapestry is made from approx. 5 mm thick wool felt, produced from surplus European sheep wool. This material is not only environmentally friendly and biodegradable but also offers good acoustic performance.
- The wall mounting system is built to last, with high-quality metal components that are fully disassemblable and reusable.
- Woel is refillable, meaning you only need to purchase the mounting system once. Over time, you can easily replace the tapestry with a new print or style, without having to replace the entire system. This minimizes material use and supports a more circular approach to interior design.

We offer one size in the printed version for flatscreen TVs up to 55 inches and with a maximum thickness of 50 mm:

Mounting system
No, our hanging system virtually disappears behind the tapestry and is therefore made of untreated metal (such as aluminum or stainless steel). This also reduces our environmental impact, and the exposed bare metal subtly reacts to its surroundings, so the color may vary slightly depending on the light and the room. This gives the product an industrial and authentic look.
Therefore, small imperfections may be visible on some parts. This is normal and does not affect the quality or functionality of the product.

Printed wall tapestries
The top layer of each rug is printed fabric: Velvet Touch. The fabric feels like velvet, selected for both its sound absorption and visual appeal. The mounting system is made from durable materials such as metal and recycled sheep's wool.
We use high-resolution sublimation printing on high-quality textiles. Sublimation ensures that the ink adheres directly to the fibers of the fabric, resulting in vibrant, long-lasting colors with exceptional detail.
Our tapestries are cleanly cut without a finished edge and are hung loosely. This way, they retain their natural shape and hang smoothly. Woel's tapestries are made from natural materials: a fabric layer glued onto wool felt. Due to this combination, a slight, subtle ripple may sometimes be visible. This is part of the material's character.

Handmade wall tapestries
Each handmade wall tapestry in the Woel collection is carefully designed. For this, we co-create with atelier STOKP^^RD in Vlissingen.

We have carefully put together a beautiful coleltion for you. Fun fact: Eduard Walhout's rugs from STOKP^^RD can be personalized on request.
Hang up
The installation is easy and can be done with basic tools. If you are familiar with mounting a shelf or a curtain rod, you can install this wall tapestry in no time.
The total weight, including the mounting system, is approximately 8 kg. This makes the product sturdy and stable, yet easy to install with just six screws on most types of walls.
The only things you need to have yourself are a drill to make 6 holes in your wall, a screwdriver, and a spirit level. The system otherwise comes with everything supplied to mount the tapestry.
Change
Certainly. Woel is designed so that the tapestry can be easily lifted out of the mounting system to be exchanged for a new tapestry.
No problem. Woel is designed to be easily removed and reinstalled.
Maintenance
Here are some tips for maintaining your wall tapestry:
If the stain is still fresh:
- Detach the tapestry from the wall system and lay it flat.
- Gently blot with paper towels, do not rub!
This works well for grease:
- Sprinkle cornstarch, potato starch, or talcum powder generously on the stain and leave it for at least 12 to 24 hours.
- Gently brush away the powder with a soft brush.
- Repeat several times if necessary.
Mild wet cleaning:
- Mix lukewarm water with a few drops of wool detergent or ox gall soap and dip a clean cloth in the mixture, wring it out well.
- Dab the stain from the outside in, do not rub!
- Rinse afterwards with a cloth with clean water only.

Our TV wall tapestries are securely packed and delivered worldwide via a parcel delivery service. All wall tapestries you order will be shipped within 8 weeks. As soon as the package leaves our production company, you will receive an email with a track & trace code. This way you can easily keep track of when your package will be delivered.
Woel TV wall tapestries are shipped within 8 weeks from our production facility.
Shipping costs in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are free.
For shipping costs outside these countries, the webshop will calculate the shipping costs in your shopping cart when you enter the country and postcode.

Our package is larger than standard and contains artwork, which makes shipping more expensive than standard shipments. Insurance costs are also included.

Returns
Our tapestries are custom-made for you upon order. For this reason, it is not possible to exchange or return these tapestries.
We do our best to ensure all our products arrive safely by packaging them well. If something is damaged nonetheless, please send an email to info@woel.store with your details, order number, and photos of the product and packaging. We will then ensure you receive a new product free of charge and as quickly as possible.
Once the product has been received by us in good order, the purchase amount will be refunded to the account used for the purchase.
The shipping costs for a return are at your own expense, unless you have received an incorrect product or there is another issue that is Woel's responsibility. If this is the case, we will send you a return label so that you can return the package free of charge. Upon receipt of the returned package, we will refund the purchase amount to you (including the initial shipping costs you paid when placing your order).
We offer a limited 12-month warranty on manufacturing defects and faulty parts in the mounting system and materials. If something goes wrong due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the affected part.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or modifications after delivery. However, our goal is always to ensure that you are satisfied and proud to have a Woel TV wall tapestry in your home.
