Sustainability

Each Woel wall tapestry is constructed from two layers: a thin (remove) textile top layer bonded to a 5 mm wool felt backing. For this, we have entered into a sustainable partnership with Hollands Wol Collectief. They use wool from sheep not kept for wool production.

Studio STOKP^^RD

Our hand-felted wall tapestries are crafted with care and expertise by Atelier STOKP^^RD in Zeeland. Designer and felt artist Eduard Walhout brings each piece to life in his studio, where he works with wool from Dutch sheep, a sustainable material with a story. Each wall tapestry is unique, pure, and handmade.
